I feel like that's the kind of working environment I could handle better than warehouses and retail but I don't know the requirements.

Although it does really bother me that YIIK has a voice acted crow that tells you you're in a library

There are lots of roles in libraries, so you could possibly find one you like. I'm a librarian at a small children's library and my job is pretty much perfect for me. I'm a cataloger, so I enter the information about materials into our systems and help with booklists, site design, and selecting which items to add or remove to the collection. If we weren't understaffed would mostly be in the back away from the public, but I help at the desk when needed and am also one to give library tours when schoolkids come in, and do story times for infants and younger kids. In a bigger library that wouldn't be part of my job as a cataloger, but I like working with the public too.

Most libraries have program planners who deal almost exclusively with the public/events, so if you like that sort of thing it's a great job. And of course there are the more stereotypical jobs like checking books out for people and shelving books.

I just got a job at a library, so I'll find out soon. (I don't know when I'm going to start yet)

That sounds up my ally, While I can handle being rushed and put under pressure to a degree, I can't handle if it piles on me all at once like i constantly does at work, like f the flow is disrupted it can really mess with me, that and because of my hearing problems the noise of the floor can throw me off as well, a well paced quiet job is something I really feel like I need and what's quieter than a library?

You have to be patient with old people. You will deal with a lot of them. For many its the only place they have for internet access and they will need your help.
