Anyone ever discover a game they really liked through these topics? I think I saw some of you talking about Stardew Valley when it first came out. Never heard of it before and knew nothing about it. Got it. Loved it. Put so many hours into it and was a blast. Feel like there was another game I got into in a similar way, but can't remember what.

Wow about Aki_Sora. I thought it strange he/she only asked for free games and never gave. The whole thing did not feel right to me. I was thinking of saying something during the Summer Sale event when someone else did and then got hammered by a few for picking on someone from a poor region/background.
It's a shame he/she felt the need to try to scam people for a few game keys and took advantage of the generosity of this board.

I bought him 3 games so he wasn't just reselling steam keys. Unless you can sell steam gifts too.

NAh I dont think you can do that. Well its water under the bridge now. We are watching to see if he returns with a new alt. He is not welcome back here. (Or on Free Games Board)

Ultimately, it won't stop me from gifting. Keys or buying from wishlists. I don't harbour any hate towards the person. I just lost a relative of mine, a very close one, to the pandemic on X-Mas eve and I really don't have the energy in me to be negative towards people. I just don't care much for liars is all, so I told him in the DM about that, without flaming him.

As long as people enjoy the games I buy for them, or the keys I send over, I'm happy.

Edit: Noticed my name on the s/sheet for giving keys; Don't include them for the draws please - I'd totally forgotten about them and would normally have put them on the Free Games board.

Aye it is, kids got me up and their mum up quite early. Very, very busy day.

My wife's splendid Christmas dinner knocked me out, fell asleep next to my eldest son (6) on the couch around 7:30pm after building some of his lego. Woke up for a second half an hour later and he had his arm wrapped around my neck whilst on the Playstation so, didn't move an inch lol.

I've done myself in now though, sleeping pattern a bit out of whack. Luckily, Sunday tomorrow so I can fix that.

Yea, I agree with that sentiment. Like I said before, one rotten apple doesnt ruin the bushel. We continue on here and theres still lots of generous gifters doing their thing. With over $100 in end prize pool money too from a bunch of us. Its fantastic, really.

I want to take the time to thank everyone that has gifted me something this year. I wish I was able to repay the kindness, but some late Christmas shopping pretty much left me financially unable to do so, hell I didn't even buy myself anything this year.
