TC - I always firmly believe that situations like yours can be changed, but it would take work and pushing out of your comfort zone.

People put way too much emphasis on sex. The real world isn't like the movies. Over a lifetime, study suggest the average number of sex partners for a person is between 4 and 8. Some will be more, some less. And sex isn't always some glamorous thing either. Plenty of people have admitted on forums that they haven't enjoyed many casual encounters they've had, and I recall reading a lifestyle article saying that a surprising number of men either don't enjoy sex much or actually have had traumatic experiences.

Take life at your own pace. Be happy with who you are, change what needs to be changed if it can be, and move toward your goals with confidence. People always project the best possible image of themselves and what they believe is society's version of a good life. Reality can be quite different.

It's pretty common not to be able to afford a girlfriend id say.

This. Do something about it. Are you hygenic, dress decent, are you approachable, have a decent personality, and do you make good money or enough to support a relationship? Improve on any deficits

Yeah sex isn't always good. My first time was when I was 21 and just felt bad afterwards. It turned into a ltr somehow. I don't care if I never have sex again. My idea of mind blowing sex doesn't seem attainable. Like too many variables would have to be met.

Appreciate your grandma while she's still around and don't worry about relationships unless the lack of is becoming too traumatic. Try some dating apps and at least attempt to communicate with a potential partner. All types of people find someone so it's not hopeless.

I had a buddy that was going that route. We were out at a bar and I was talking to some girls while he just sat at the bar and enjoyed a beer. Neither was very attractive but one was throwing herself at me, so I figured I might as well since I was putting zero effort in.

Anyway, I mentioned to her friend that I had a friend with me that was a wizard and she was all about being his first. She got off on the idea of being immortalized in his mind. We went back to their place and she took care of everything for him.

So my advice is to get a decent wingman or wingwoman to help.

What kinda city do you live in? There are definitely a lot of people in the same situation just happen to live in places that don't really have a 'dating scene', and it's even worse in smaller towns or villages where there's hardly anyone of a similar demographic nearby.

There will be people who are interested, the trick is just knowing where to find them.

One man told me have the fun and experiences (traveling and buying what you want when you're younger) and then look for a woman later (OK he did have an Asian bride...) But the fact is, many people seem to think sex and being with someone is the be all and end all... it's not.

Whats holding you back?

If you dont mind losing your virginity you could always hire a sex worker to show you the ropes and get some sexual experience. That way when you start to date you could feel more comfortable around women. If you want to lose it to the right girl it may be a little tough as most women may be turned off by it. Not to be confused with women who love to take a guys virginity and then once they have it you never hear from them again. But if you choose to wait there are women who wouldnt mind. May take a bit of searching. Just explain to her ehy you waited. If shes cool go for it. If shes not cool keep trying.

Thanks guys. I'd still be leaving all ne while you guys find someone, that's ok. It's the thought that counts. Besides, I've been doing better lately. It still really gets me down, but I refuse to dwell on it like I used to. That's helped quite a bit, but it can still be a gut punch.
