And it's creepy for a 32 year old to date a 29 year old. Know your limits ffs. Stop being predatory. Anything more than a 2 year age difference is disgusting.

Well, it is me. And I don't control her at all. I was friends with her first for 3 years, and now have been dating for over a year. I absolutely adore her.

I mainly just wanted to see if my situation received a different response than all 30 something and 20 something ones that Geno does all the time. Happy to see the results are similar.

For the record, I am tired of these topics.

Well your topic is a lot more positive than the one about the 35 and 20 age gap. People are less bothered by it when both people are older, I guess.

More power to you and your gf though. I'm at the point where mature 40 year olds are looking pretty hot. Tried to shoot my shot with one, but she treats me like one of her kids because her oldest is only 4 years younger than me lol.

Luckily I didn't start having kids until 29, so my oldest daughter is 14 years younger than my gf. However, I still did have an aunt who thought my gf was my oldest daughter when I posted a hiking pic on Facebook. Ugh.

Well, I can't necessarily disagree, but I didn't purposefully go after her. Just kinda happened due to us being friends.

Sounds like something some people in CE would think. The fact is that it was the opposite.

When I first met her, I was 40 and she was 25. She had an obvious crush on me, and I purposefully resisted allowing anything to happen because I was in a post divorce man whore phase and I was worried I would just end up hurting her, especially because of her age and innocence.

We really started reconnecting in the fall of last year after I ended a 2 year relationship. We started hiking together and I still was resisting because I didn't want her to be a rebound. I eventually caved and decided it wasn't my job to protect her from me because she knows who I am and has her own agency. Now we have been together over a year and have been living together since August.
