I just passed 300, it's pretty cool. It rarely has any plot development of them getting closer to finding the treasure, but it doesn't feel like it's wasting your time with the stories that are given either. --- ...I think I'm done here... ... Copied to Clipboard!

Anime is pretty spot on until around Water 7. If you like it but is starts feeling sloggish, look up the edited version that removes filler or switch to the manga. Its really not worth it to try to persevere. The number of anime high points can just be watched on YouTube. There are way too many low points to make it worth it to watch it as normal. ... Good luck on the looong journey ahead. I tried, but I couldn't do it. It's not a knock against One Piece, specifically. The pacing of old shonen anime is just too slow for me now. Like, if I didn't see Dragon Ball Z as a kid, I don't think I could sit through it as an adult. "They're still fighting this guy!?
