We were best friends that hung out like 6 days a week for months, I've spent my last dollar on her and she did the same for me, it feels like she was the only person that really got me. We were friends through bfs of hers that didn't like me and she told me she wouldn't ever let a guy ruin our friendship. She also did so much to build my confidence.

Now we haven't really talked or seen each other in 3 weeks (blew me off on my birthday too) and when we do talk she acts irritable and distant. I'm not sure it has anything to do with her new bf but it lines up perfectly so I'll assume he has something to do with it. To top it off I asked her the other day to go get drinks for yesterday and she said she was busy so whatever, go with a different friend to the bar and she's there, and throughout the night doesn't even come to say hi.

I'm really down today now even though I know I should just think "fuck her, if she's not going to be a good friend I don't need her"

That sucks man. I wish it was easy enough to say fuck her and move on but you too were obviously close. I suggest you message her how you feel without expectation of a response. Speak your mind and allow yourself closure cause it's not worth it to be in a one-sided relationship. I also recommend trying out one of those friend meeting apps. It'll be useful for getting your mind off her and hopefully realizing that there are other good people out there you can form connections with (even if online ain't ideal)

[LFAQs-redacted-quote]

According to our mutual friend (she introduced me to best friend and the bf to her) he's really good to her unlike any of her exs but it still feels like it came out of nowhere.

I'm not really lacking in the friend department I feel like, I mean I was out with another friend when I saw her.

Also, it's weird, despite being pretty sad about this I haven't had a wave of depression or self doubt like the last times I've lost good friends

Yeah, sounds like the boyfriend is the issue, the question is why this specific one is so special/got such a hold on her.

He's got a huge dong.
