Fat shaming shouldn't be a thing. Not all bullying / peer pressure is bad. For example, my kid didn't like taking showers. I used to tell him about how smelly he is and that he needs to be clean. I'm the parent, so of course I get an eye-roll. But when he was at school with other kids who were smelly, he started getting the picture and didn't want to be the smelly kid. Same deal with fat people. I'm fat right now and I know it (not obese, but definitely overweight). I don't need someone to tiptoe on eggshells around me. Hell - not calling me fat it makes me more likely to stay this way. That being said - it doesn't have to be a constant barrage of fat jokes or starting ever sentence with 'Hey fat man. . ' There is a point where it becomes just plain rude & asshole behavior. However, having a friend or colleague who can say something without the fear of offending you is an important thing to have in your life. ... Copied to Clipboard!

while being overweight can contribute to such diseases skinny people can still have either one. Heart disease caused by drugs/stress/anxiety disorders and diabetes can be occur with pancreatic disorders even at birth. ... Copied to Clipboard!
