Reading it over text that kind of punctuation causes a pause that can sound condescending. Especially if you know someone that talks like that offline.
If you had said "yes, Gokushufudo. Fun fact, shufu-do literally means way of house husband" I don't think there would have been any argument as you would have been agreeing and adding more. Kinda like in improv where you always "yes, and."

Go to Netflix and type in the Japanese name. You're not going to find it. It may be the "proper" name but that's not what you're going to use if you're searching for it on Netflix.
