i get ID'd for looking under 40, which is policy for most businesses out here. Happens more with mask on than mask off, heh.

This but there's a few places where I don't get ID'd.

I occasionally get ID for booze. Particularly if I'm with younger looking folks.

But under 18 no. I did get ID to go see Argo years ago. Even though I was well over 17 AND seeing the movie with my parents.

I already have plans for going on opening day, I'm counting down the days. I haven't heard one way or another about if they're going to open up Top Thrill when the season starts, personally I think they should just tear it down since it's been a hassle since opening year, it's shut down a lot and then maintenance workers have to come over to see what caused the error or why it rolled back,etc.

They should tear it down and make room for a new coaster or put flat rides in its place.

i kinda hope they don't tear it down. I like that ride. Do you like gatekeeper or valravn more? I think gatekeeper is an awesome ride , and the lines are much shorter than valravn. I might like gatekeeper more than magnum, but i like magnum as well

I like both equally and I like all but Top Thrill. I've never rode it but definitely not going to now since that woman got hurt.

I've only been ID'd once by a place that doesn't ID every customer, and it was buying smokes from the same place I had been for almost a decade, from the same guy who always works that time. Look in his eyes screamed "Please don't say anything", so I figured the manager was there and he'd get shitcanned if I pointed out he never carded me.

I don't smoke nor drink, so pretty much the only that would ask me for ID is when I'd go see an R-rated movie. And that has happened a few times. Even though I'm well over 17.

yeah but only cuz the store has a policy to card everyone. though sometimes at stores they'll just put in a random date

The gas station near me that has a bunch of local craft beer stopped carding me since all the employees know me as a regular now.

I've not gotten ID'd for a movie since I was 17.

At B-Dubs I don't even get asked for an ID when buying alcohol.

Yea you don't get ID'd because you look under 18, you get ID'd because its just policy and the person checking is adhering strictly to that policy, whereas others don't.
