I'm not really a Funko hater. I have like 4 or 5 of them I received as gifts and that's about enough I need tho lol already feels like clutter. Their audience is potentially anybody, since they make so many figures that you're bound to like SOME of their characters. The company priced them perfectly to make them a convenient and affordable present to buy for somebody you know casually. That plus the meganerds who collect them obsessively. The only problem is they're tacky and hideous, and I hate knowing how many people are casually buying them for coworkers and friends who don't really want them or care about them, and that they'll just become more plastic pollution in a couple of years. ... I fucking hate them but my kid loves them. She got me like a dozen of the things. I wish we lived in the timeline where they actually looked like their character. Look at Amiibos. They cost about the same and look 10 times better.
