Do you wash your hands a lot? I used to, and I had this problem every winter. Cold dry air plus the washing was the culprit in my case

I need to buy a more heavy-duty moisturizer as well...

Just had a whole house humidifier installed. Seems to be helping

yeah, the backs of my hands crack and bleed pretty badly. lotion those fuckers up EARLY

This is the only stuff that works for me also. Every damn winter, my hands dry out like crazy no matter what.

Use hand lotion or drink a shit ton of water. I live in the desert and thats the only shit that works for me.

Feet, not hands. My feet are rough, lot of wear and tear over the years and I still hike and stuff, but in winter the calluses on my feet dry and crack and it's painful until it heals over. Tried many things, so I just deal, I was kind of a hippy in regards to walking around a lot outside barefoot.

Does water in instant coffee count!?

Foot lotion and wear socks like all the time. I basically wear socks whenever I'm not in bed and my feet are soft as a babies bottom.

I do have weak ass feet tho. I can't walk on rocks barefoot to save my life lmao

I use Lubriderm, seems to do the trick. Though I imagine any hand lotion is good so long as you use it daily.

Bump so rarely do I meet someone else with completely cracked skin and cut up hands to share my pain with.

I been forcing myself to use moisturizer which I tend to hate but I make a habit of putting it on if I'm gonna go out to exercise, that way I don't need to grab anything and can let the lotion settle into the skin

Its been extra bad these past 2 winters since Im (even) more compulsive about washing my hands now.
