Crazy demand for their new movie. People wanting to see Garfield and Maguire again and I think the movie leaves people wanting more from them. They can basically take the series all sorts of places. Maybe even go back to their own Spider-man series while also sticking with Disney for the MCU. Makes more sense than Mobius and Silver Sable. People now understand a multiverse and they don't need to worry about the MCU as much as they used to.

The whole 'Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield should crossover' was even in that Sony email leak from years ago.

But it depends on what their agreement is with Disney I guess. They might not be allowed to make their own live action Spider-man movies. Also Sony have a reputation of fucking things up. But still they're in a very good place right now. If possible they really should be tapping Raimi for Spidey 4 as soon as he wraps up Multiverse of Madness. If not they should be thinking of how to spin-off their own things using those characters. Maybe something like Mayday Parker.

$587 million global weekend debut...and that is without China.

Far from home debuted to $95 million there...assuming a similar number it would've bad a bigger debut then force awakens and been the #2 global opening of all time instead of #3.

I'm kinda confused by what we have seen with Mobius now. He's seen talking with MCU Vulture, but they also reference stuff going on in San Francisco with Venom and also name drops Venom in the trailer. But as we saw Tom Hardy's Venom is technically not part of the MCU. Unless Mobius is going to be doing some multiverse traveling too.

It beat god damn Star Wars The Force Awakens during a pandemic.

Like god damn.

I don't think the future has ever looked brighter for live action Spider-man. They can take it anywhere.

Maybe an alternate Vulture similar to JJJ.
