SotC is one of those games that won't retain its strength. I doubt it beats MGS2 again, let alone Galaxy. FFIV is very slightly before the sweet spot era that this site loves, so RE4 probably takes care of business. SOTC got 46% on MGS1 in 2015 (around what MGS2 got on RE4), and the game has even gotten a remake on PS4 since then. SotC has a fantastic remake. The game has now become a classic one of its kind game. It was also near MGS1 and MGS3 in strength even in 2015. Resident Evil 4 has likely retained at least its 2015 strength or is even stronger now. People forget that the series was in an absolute dump at that time with RE6 almost killing off the series. RE7, 8 and the RE2 remake has reinvigorated the series over the last couple of years, not to mention RE4 is most likely getting a remake soon which is only further going to bolster its strength. Galaxy I believe is likely only a little stronger than Galaxy 2 and a mid tier Mario game in contest strength and I find it baffling that so many people consider it the favorite over RE4 and SotC. Final Fantasy IV is not on any of these games level and if it is scoring any upset against any of these three games it is against Galaxy. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Well it's 45% on FFX vs. 46% on MGS. Galaxy being the favorite to win is honestly kind of baffling. I know Nintendo and all, but RE4 and SOTC have arguably left more lasting impact and Galaxy has never truly impressed. It says a lot when we think pushing its most impressive performances were like what, 38% on Twilight Princess and 41% on Super Metroid? I was thinking Mario Galaxy/SOTC could be an interesting match because if you take Mario to win that basically means Super Metroid breaks 55% on MGS.
