Let me just chug this beer down, and start up the game. I have a torreta, steelix, alakazam, glaceon, magmortar, and gyrados. Lvls vary between 54 - 53. I think I can do it. Maybe it's da liquor talking but I can do it CE! ^.^

You got a good spread of types but your levels arent the best.

Yeah, 60 is about the minimum I would start the E4 with. The champion gets up to almost 70, iirc. If you haven't found it yet, there's a lucky egg in the NW sector of the underground, in one of the snow/ice caves.

You can clear on mid-high 50s, you just need a solid plan to handle Cynthia.

Shit. I forgot how good the elite four were. I underestimated them because of how easy the trainers were in that cave. I'll definately have to grind. Which I don't mind doing. I like mindless grinding :/

So I passed out last night while grinding. I've gotten my pokemon leveled up at 58 - 57. I'm aiming for the lvl 60 mark and then i'm going to battle the E4. Hopefully I can do it with a lvl 60 team.

I used every rare candy to beat Cynthia. Empoleon was like 66 andthe rest 58-61. Had to rely on an affection miss with garchomp out to even have a chance. The difficulty spike is real. One use TM's with an E4 this difficult is fucked up.

You all weren't kidding when it comes to Cynthia. I'm going to take another crack at her tonight.

I did it CE.

Glaceon with Freeze-Dry was the star of the battle.

Special shoutout to Magmortar. What a beast.

Not too happy with Steelix. Won't main that pokemon again.
