Damn, there were only 279 hate crimes against asians in 2020 in all of the US, and these guys just did 70

Income inequality, unemployment, and poverty affects Black and Brown community harder than most which can lead to increase in crimes by these population. The fact that these guys happen to all be Black doesn't mean anything about the whole community. They said they targeted these women based on the mistakenly dumb belief that Asian women don't have bank accounts thinking they were carrying wads of cash on them. These attacks seem more in the vein of crimes of economic opportunity, but in some of those cases they used ethnic slur which makes some of them hate crimes.

Like, the articles go out of their way to mention it was black dudes, and in some cases, even the police bring up their race. Nobody else finds all this suspicious? Its like somebodys orchestrating a narrative of Asian hate among the black community, which couldnt be further from the truth tbh.

idk but studies show that most of the crimes were committed by white people. Its a little suspicious that the ones that make the news are the ones with black people.

And it definitely appears that yes, some of the most prolific attackers do specifically target Asian women, often seniors. They know this because according to the DAs evidence, ethnic slurs were allegedly used against some of the women,

I mean, I get why lower income people commit crimes. (Heck I knew some kids in highschool that robbed somebody and went to jail for it.) But what I dont get is why all these Asian hate crime stories keep leading back to black people. Its weird and a little suspicious.

What type of insane mental gymnastics would you have to do to come up with this insane logic?

Yes, the media is the one pushing the narrative by focusing on these cases to create a racial wedge between minorities. Instead of focusing on the policies that lead to these outcomes, it's easy to create a racial wedge between minorities so people focus their anger on that rather than at those in power who can do something about it.
