An asteroid is still natural though and would kill you instantly if it's big enough. If you're far enough away from a super volcano eruption you're gonna suffer until you die.

True about distance.If one hit on the opposite side of the planet from me and the right size it could have the same slow killing effect like what happened to the dinosaurs. Same with Yellowstone but, that one would kill me much faster. Not knowledgeable about any other super volcano's.

Tornado

Im in the Midwest, so while unlikely to hit exactly where Im located, its still the most likely to occur.

That said, I think it would be amazing to see one in the distance, in an unpopulated area. I just dont want one anywhere near my town.

Its hard to say, I live in St Louis , so the only two I have to worry about are quakes and tornados, I live well above the flood plain, so thats out. Were overdue for a big quake, and iirc the ground under my house isprime for liquidifacation. However, as low as the chances are that I will get hit by a twister, it still might be higher than a really large earthquake.
