Tonight when I lucid dream I'm going to look into a mirror and find out what happens

I used to be able to lucid dream completely.

I miss being able to do that.

Are you talking about when you wake up to early, but can still lay in bed and have dreams....which people sat aren't dreams, because supposedly REM sleep hasn't really kicked in?

is looking in the mirror supposed to do something?

Like, I'm a very light sleeper and I just kind of think about things while I lay there. It's easy for me to lay there for hours and not be bored, but I have my eyes closed and I'm just kind of, I don't know, living things out. Of course I do fall asleep and have hours where I lose track of time, of else I would be dead, but I do take a long time to get there and I wake up before I need to and I lay there even more thinking about things

I do that too. Sucks because I get stuck in a loop where Im awake, but my brains going haywire and reading me a story.

I can get that Tetris Effect thing going on where I just do the same thing over and over and over and over all f'n night long. But only like twice a year

If you're conscious enough to be controlling your "dream," then you're not sleeping. I don't believe in lucid dreams.

But do you have that mid-term place, where your mind just goes, and you have sorta mini dreams?
Usually for me in the morning. It's beyond just daydreaming, as it were.

I can have several in a few hours, with no deep sleep at all.
I like it, but I wonder if it's normal. I've never heard other people mention it.

This is kind of how I feel, tbh. Like, I get what people are saying. And I get why people like them are, "special," because I've seen people that just fall asleep right away so of course they wouldn't be able to do this. You just kind of have to hit that happy medium, you know?

Like, I 100% believe in the power of dreams. Lots of great inventions in history have come from dreams, but laying in bed in deep thought isn't always a dream. I don't know. I just know that I enjoy laying there with the world at my control, but that's just an active imagination and not being bothered by laying still and self-reflecting

Ya, I snap out of it pretty quick.
Not to go there, but, yes, I would literally screw up a wet dream.

I have saved myself from dying a few times though, so that's nice.

Of course. Like an all night dream with episodes. You wake up, and you're like, 'that's a cool dream,' and you just dive right back into it. I f'n love it

My lucid dreams are usually wild random sex, but this mirror thing sounds interesting. I'll have to try looking for one.

That was just a shit post, tbh. I saw a YouTube video in my suggestion saying things you shouldn't do while lucid dreaming and I wanted to be a rebel

I basically never get to do that. I usually sleep throughout.

The particular ones I am speaking of, are the ones I get when I woke up by my cat or some such thing.
And I can turn over, and after a while, fall into that brainwave. I don't know if it's an Alpha, Beta, or Delta wave, but I suppose it's something like that.

That moment when your mind slips into something, not real, is perfectly real...but only after a reasonable;e sleep cycle. I certainly dream, or perhaps meditate far outside of deep sleep.

What if you look in the mirror and find out you were Jack the Ripper?
