Job description: You sit alone in an isolated room watching paint dry for 8 hours a day. So basically, you spend your entire shift staring at a wall. You're not allowed to go on your phone or access the internet during your shift. However, you are permitted to take two 15-minute breaks, as well as a 30-minute unpaid lunch break to do whatever you please.

No dozing off whatsoever!

Id give it a go for 1 year but committing to 5 is too much. I might be genuinely insane by the end of it.

I spent literally about 5 hours today checking Aerospace parts that I primed and painted...so yes, I'd give it a shot.

This sounds like some weird experiment where the employer would secretly record you to see how long before you go crazy from doing absolutely nothing for 40 his a week. I would never willingly do this

Or play an instrument while i stare at the wall. Or just draw and check the wall. Or workout and look at the wall.

I'd listen to audio books, bring a book, or bring other objects to fidget with like weights and a Rubik's cube. I'm sure I could fill the time with gaining new knowledge.

Hell yea, i pretty much do that already sometimes. Just sit listening to music staring at my wall daydreaming for hours only getting up to eat and use the bathroom every now and then. Easiest job ever. Idk if i can go 8 hours eating only once tho, but im sure id get used to it. Honestly if i get extra money for skipping breaks id probably skip breaks every now and then too just because id lose track of time and forget them anyway.
