Conservatives have done a great job at destroying and preventing all of those over the last few decades. Combo that with just how generally lazy and stupid Americans are and there's really just no hope for the future of this country.

Build Back Better was supposed to be the budget reconciliation bill, meaning it would not require a 60-vote cloture to be brought to the floor for a vote in the Senate. But by all means do continue to go on about how ignorant others are and the legislative process.

I repeat my last post.

Dems only had 48 votes.
Dems only hold 50 seats.
2 of those Dems refuse to vote with Democrats.
50 seats is NOT a strong control of the Senate.

The House had nothing hostage over the Senate.

So yes. There are a shit to ton of people ignorant of the legislative process. Democrats do not have a strong enough majority in the Senate to pass anything and yet here you are not grasping that. The other half is Trump supporters grifting.

They had the Senates infrastructure bill, which the progressive Democrats were refusing to go forward with without BBB being passed. That was leverage that they did have, which they lost when the House went ahead and passed the Senate bill anyway.
