These people literally go off the rails because a guy kindly asked them to actually put their shopping cart in the right place and puts a harmless magnet on their car that essentially says "hey everyone, I am a huge douchebag."

In this video the guy lies to other people saying the CartNarc slammed the magnet onto his card which is easily proven a huge blantant stupendous lie.

They expend way more effort than it would actually take to just put their cart in the right spot. Why? Because they have to be right, but they aren't right and they know it. So they have to prove to the world they are right despite themselves knowing they are wrong. It is unreal.

I think about this guy whenever I put a cart away now. If anything, he made me feel better for what I was already doing. I love him and would let him put a baby in me.

I have plenty of friends with disabilities that make it so the extra effort to put a cart away is no always possible. So that's what I'm thinking of whenever I see a topic about this cart narc crap.

not defending them but failure to return a shopping cart isnt a crime. Harassment is indeed a crime. Plus as its been pointed out they have workers whos job it is to collect carts

In these videos the people often say "I woke up too early today" or "Gotta go pickup my kid" as their excuses. Most common one is "they pay people to put up the carts so why shouldn't I just leave it wherever?"
Haven't seen one where someone said they had a disability.

They can roll the cart through the store and back to their car but they can't roll it to the corral? Pretty sure most markets could have someone assist them to their car too, especially if they're in the scooters.

I don't drive so I don't use a cart except in the store itself.

And not everyone who has a disability is going to want to say they have one. Especially to some guy recording them.

I do realize. Im on disability and you can't tell from looking. But Id prefer if able bodied people didn't get to be lazy with no reprecussions just cause some people have disabilities. Some these people even leave carts in disabled parking.

My condition isn't as bad as Lupus, so I don't want that to come off like some type of gotcha moment. But I'm just saying I definitely realize that. I also know from being disabled, it will definitely come up regularly regardless of what you want. People who don't know you are gonna assume you're able bodied. Because, it would be weird if they went around assuming everyone was secretly disabled >_>. So there are many times you have to tell people you have a condition. At least this situation, the person is actually doing something I think I find entertaining lol.

FYI the Narc even offers to take the cart for people. The problem is the nigh suggestion that they should have done it themselves sends them off the rails.

Yeah, that's how some disabilities work. A good day is that they can actually go grocery shopping, but they still need to put the groceries away and the extra work to put the cart away and get back to the car might be enough that they can't put the groceries away when they get home.

Like. I get that society is built around able bodied people and people with disabilities being accommodated in any capacity is an afterthought at best, but come on. How sad must it be that you need to try and strawman with something that know seems outlandish by ableist standards?

No, it is not. Sorry to say it, but that sounds like someone using the classification of disability as a crutch to not do what is basic human decency.
If I was to get to my car and got an episode of immense pain, I would not leave my cart there and drive off. Because I literally would not be able to drive in such a case the pain would be so severe. In this case it did not subside, I would literally have to go to the hospital or call for a ride.

Grocers literally provide a service for disabled people. They will bring the bags to your car, hell most will have an employee shop with you if you need that. If someone's disability is that bad they should absolutely be taking advantage of this type of service instead of just dumping the cart somewhere lol

If CartNarc was around and I got to the car and was in immense pain, I would be glad they were around as he would kindly take the cart for me.

She even throws her drink at him lol. It's funny cause the embarrassing part isn't even that you didn't put the cart away. It's that you feel so dumb being called out that you get upset about it.

Exactly. Speaking from personal experience, when I am in enough pain to not be able to move the cart, I won't be talking much and won't be moving much. I would just stand there in pain, maybe try to sit down.

But I guess there is some secret disability where you can run and argue with people but secretly be in immense pain?
