Billie Eilish is opening up about pornography and her sex life.

While making an appearance on SiriusXMs The Howard Stern Show, the 19-year-old entertainer revealed that she began watching pornography at the age of 11, but now finds it a disgrace.

As a woman, I think porn is a disgrace. I used to watch a lot of porn, to be honest. I started watching porn when I was like 11, Billiesaid. I think it really destroyed my brain and I feel incredibly devastated that I was exposed to so much porn.

The first few times I, you know, had sex, I was not saying no to things that were not good. It was because I thought thats what I was supposed to be attracted to, Billiecontinued. Im so angry that porn is so loved, and Im so angry at myself for thinking that it was okay. The way that vaginas look in porn is fucking crazy. No vaginas look like that. Womens bodies dont look like that. We dont come like that.

She also touched on dating as a celebrity, saying, Im not a serial dater I dont go to stuff and flirt with people. Its really hard to meet people when people are either terrified of you or think that youre out of their league. Last year, I thought that Id be single for the rest of my life. I think thats normal ..ish? In todays world? I started around 11 as well through my dads mags and internet. Granted it was only pics back then due to slow internet.

I definitely think shes right that mainstream porn tends to center and promote certain types of bodies (this applies to both genders), and its worth looking into how this affects our perception as a society as to what is normal looking. She did hyperbolize when she claimed that no woman looks like that, but shes not wrong that porn normalizes bodies that look like that, and this impacts not only personal preferences but also, on the Internet, how algorithms determine recommendations. Because while there is definitely a lot more variety in amateur porn, in terms of body features (shape, size, color, etc. and not just limited to genitalia), your chances of stumbling upon any particular performer are weighted by what the website you are visiting chooses to show you.

Just to be clear, Im not saying feminists are responsible for what those people did. R. Kelly, Cosby, Louis CK, all them are guilty and horrible.

Im just saying, twitter groups complained when nick at night kept running Cosby reruns, Nickelodeon didnt make a Ren and Stimpy movie because of complaints about John K, the God Of War director is a self proclaimed feminist who cleaned up the series to make it more palatable, Lara Crofts design was adjusted because it was deemed sexist, etc.

I mean shes not wrong. Professional porn is *not* a good influence on impressionable people

The majority of people are happy with the change. If it had nothing to do with feminism and someone had a revelation where they made a game series you liked even better, you'd probably have no problem with it. Not all feminism is extreme. It just looks that way when you're part of an online community that only shows you the extreme acts.

People who care more about the boobs of a character than the entire rest of the game always out themselves in my perception as well. I can't really care about any of their takes when they're appreciation of games is that surface.

I didnt say that at all. Nick was considering an R&S movie when they were working on the Rocko and Hey Arnold movies, but they received a lot of feedback from women upset about John Ks actions with a female animator back in the day. So the movie was quietly canceled before it ever entered production.
