My wife got her booster yesterday, and has had a sore throat + fever since last night.

I know fevers are a common side-effect with the vaccines, but sore throat isn't listed anywhere except for websites saying it's a possible symptom of covid.

Did anyone else get one from their booster?

No but I have heard of it. I also heard that OTC meds work for the side effects.

God I cant wait to get mine. Gonna call out with sick pay for 3 days in a row fam.

I only got a sore arm

Fever, some chills, maybe a bit stuffy

No, but it is common with vaccines, especially flu shots. I usually get some sinus drainage with my annual flu shot.

I didn't have any reaction to my first Moderna shot, but the second one and the booster gave me a mild fever and some malaise for about half a day. Treating the fever will go a long way toward improving the situation, since it's the fever alone that's responsible for a lot of the general shittiness some people feel after taking a vaccine. A little Tylenol made me feel more or less back to normal.

Actually I felt better after getting the booster and yes it could be my brain saying good for now.

Okay cool that's reassuring then. She was freaking out cuz she knew she might get a fever, but the sore throat was different from the effects she got from the original shot.
