They're likely to spend the rest of their lives in prison, based on Georgia's penalties for murder. Not sure about William Bryan, though.

I hope they're locked up forever. They deserve no mercy, what they did is tantamount to lynching minus the actual rope and hanging. They saw a black man, decided he did something wrong, and killed him.

Mr. Arbery was running in Satilla Shores when a man standing in his front yard saw him go by, according to a police report. The man, Gregory McMichael, said he thought Mr. Arbery looked like a man suspected in several break-ins in the area and called to Travis McMichael, his son.

According to the police report, the men grabbed a .357 Magnum handgun and a shotgun, got into a pickup truck and chased Mr. Arbery, trying unsuccessfully to cut him off. A third man was also involved in the pursuit, according to the report and other documents.

During the chase, the McMichaels yelled, Stop, stop, we want to talk to you, according to Gregory McMichaels account in the police report. They then pulled up to Mr. Arbery, and Travis McMichael got out of the truck with the shotgun.
Gregory McMichael stated the unidentified male began to violently attack Travis and the two men then started fighting over the shotgun at which point Travis fired a shot and then a second later there was a second shot, the report states.

That is literally what happened.

They chased him in pickup trucks.

He was just walking around some construction site.

So what part of the events are you challenging? They admitted they saw a black guy who according to them looked like a suspect. They chased him for a while. Got out with their guns drawn. Ahmaud couldnt run anymore and fought for the gun. He got shot. Tried to run again and they shot him again.

The whole "Stop or I'll blow your head off!" thing really undercuts the idea that they weren't trying to kill him until he fought them.

There's really no reason for anyone to remember (or know), but during the trial itself I was active in topics about it and never did anything other than state their guilt was obvious.

In a text message exchange between Travis and Langford, prosecutor Jesse Evans said Travis wrote a message referring to shooting a crackhead c*** with gold teeth.

That is what happened. They saw a black guy, chased him down, and shot him. The prosecutors pretty much proved that.
