Looks like China found a new, creative way to bully countries into submission.

Nicaragua has received one million Covid vaccines from China, days after it cut diplomatic ties with Taiwan in favour of Beijing.

The Central American nation's flip in allegiance to Beijing last week dismayed Taiwan authorities, with Taipei saying it was "deeply saddened" that Nicaragua had "disregarded many years of friendship".

Taiwan had previously been an important trade partner to Nicaragua. But last week, Nicaragua's president declared that it recognised that Taiwan was an inalienable part of China's territory.

Too bad the rich countries didn't live up to their promises and goals of providing covid vaccinations to third world nations. Is Sinopharm even effective against Delta and Omicron?

I can't wait for Canada and USA to absolutely devastate the Chinese Olympic Men's Hockey team 20-0.

still likely is shit. it had a lower protection rating than J&J.
probably equal to Sputnik V (maybe that one worse than china).

Sinopharm uses traditional vaccine technology instead of MRNA technology. There are pros and cons of both. But the big point for using the the traditional method to make vaccine is that it can be stored at room temp. Where as the new MRNA need to be kept at cold temps at least (-20 C). Due to this, a lot of poorer country actually prefer Sinopharm because they lack the infrastructure to transport and store Pfizer or Moderna's vaccine.

I've heard comparisons between modern china and Germany in the 1930s. Hopefully it doesn't get to 1940s Germany stuff

They already are but they have the rest of the world by the balls with their goods. Otherwise, relations would've ended a long time ago.
