How much do you agree with this logic?

A phrase isnt logic

Its one of those things that largely depends on scope and perspective

Generally speaking people will use that logic to excuse or affirm their actions or shitty behavior but there are some situations where its apt

If you are hated you are probably doing something wrongm

I guess it depends on who hates you. Like if the KKK or a bunch of Neo-Nazis hate you, then maybe you're doing something right.

But hatred isn't the best metric to use for ethics. =/

Essentially this. The most extreme of examples. It definitely isnt a normal application of that mentality though

Depends who you're hated by and why I suppose

Don't take criticism from people you wouldn't ever go to for advice.

People who exist to piss people off and feel good about it are the worst.

Yeah, yeah. But people in those situations don't need to say it. They're obviously on the right side because bigotry is obviously wrong. The only times I've seen people actually say ''I'm hated so I must be doing something right'' are people in the exact opposite situation. it's the people with the bigoted, hateful and fashy opinions that always seem to end up coping with statements like that

Actually, there's a ton of logic behind the saying.

First, we have to determine whether the subject is actually hated.

Second, we have to determine whether they are hated for the reasons discussed.

Third, we have to determine whether they can proceed under these conditions.

Fourth, we have to determine whether they should.or.if the saying is even accurate or how OFTEN it is accurate.

The subject is not emotional. The "people" who hate them are. The subject is pathological and .. logical if they expected this and or are continuing their behavior, and meeting their goals. Perhaps the subject has discovered "how things work"

It's FAR from machine logic, but it isn't exactly coming from an emotional place and it's become an idiom (pathology) for a reason. Obviously our markets are pretty cutthroat. If you're getting a LOT of negative attention and nitpicks after you become successful .... Don't be shocked

People hate anything which they do not understand; anything new; anything they fear.
