These days I mostly follow Brooklyn vegan for recommendations. They seem to cast the widest net in terms of genres they focus on. Their weekly recommendations posts always highlight a good variety of stuff

i follow stereogum next most and then Pitchfork, although these days they skew too heavily towards bullshit experimental electronic albums that i just dont care about, or super generic trap where youve heard one youve heard it all

and then aggregators like albumoftheyear
