When I do music and I have to improvise something during a solo or a jam, I always imagine that balance meter from the Tony Hawks games

It's such a shame that there will never be an HD collection of them because of the sheer licensing nightmare it would be to preserve everything >_>

3 showed me the music of Motrhead so Im forever in debt to that game for showing me the way musically

Have you played them recently? Yeah THUG1 has the good story, but the missions themselves are kinda lackluster >_>

Meanwhile yeah THUG2 is basically just jackass with skateboards, but the sheer amount of content in THUG2 is unreal. The story missions themselves are a lot of fun, there's classic mode, create-a-park and create-a-modes are extremely fleshed out and at their best, and the engine and gameplay is at its peak in this game.

No I havent played them in fooooorever because theyre impossible to play with no old consoles, but I remember absolutely loving thug and being incredibly disappointed with thug 2, and thaw was just straight Idk if I even finished that one

Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure was also amazing, I think it used the same engine as THPS4

THAW felt very rushed. Probably because Neversoft was burnt out from Activision demanding a new Tony Hawk game every single year. The engine feels like a downgrade from THUG2, it randomly crashes, stat missions are glitched, the missions literally don't get harder on hard mode (they'll still ask you do 10k combos near the end of hard mode. WTF >_>), and the levels were really bland and samey.

It's pretty fun and does have some decent content with classic mode coming back, and all the fun parkour moves you can do. But I rarely ever go back to it.

Something about the graphics engine of THUG2 and AW bothered the hell out of me, making every character look goofy with huge heads and weird bodies. thug1 was perfect imo

Good games, but the EA Skate games were better overall.

THUG2 has the best gameplay out of all of the games, but the Bam Margera stuff is maybe some of the most outdated content in any video game ever lol

3 is definitely my favorite to just pick up and play

4 had some wild stuff I'm surprised it got away with >_> Like monkeys throwing shit at you, being able to see rhinos fuck, Jenna Jameson voicing a character that had her boobs jiggle everytime she ollied, literally being able to bet money on hooker fights under an overpass in London

I got a 360 and a CRT tv this year, and I did get Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 and 4 for that console, want the rest up through American Wasteland too.

THUG2 is the one. Almost definitely a top 10 or even top 5 game for me.
