real answer, its where the techs are trained to give a muscle injection. your ass has a large muscle group for injections sure, but lots of people have a large amount of adipose tissue there so its not as consistent as the shoulder muscle they aim for. oh, and shots in the ass tend to hurt more since you're going to be using it more often for movement and sitting and such. i remember getting a childhood shot in the leg and being in agonizing pain for at least two days. --- Taarsidath-an halsaam.
