I dont really watch women's basketball but every once in a while I get recommended a video of Paige Bueckers getting injured. This is like the 5th I seen it. Is that just how it is in women's sports or just that specific athlete one of the most injury prone in that sport.

I dont know that particular athlete, but women do tend to be more injury prone, especially ACL injuries. Our joints are actually designed to expand (in order to give birth), so certain movements can lead to joint injuries in women because our joints are softer.

This seems like a design flaw

Yea that is unfortunate. Would explain why she keeps spraining her ankle.

They get more ACL injuries and also concussions are easier to come by.

Yeah, their bones, tendons, and ligaments are more thinner relative male athletes(and being taller compounds the issue: more stress on everything). Like, when I consulted for hormones, I was warned that my bones would become weaker and osteopenia/perosis could be a problem in the future. So that's a contributing factor.

You mean you've seen the same vid 5 times? To the extent it's gotten more attention, it's because she is the best player on the best-known women's team

This is also why I will not watch women's hockey. First off, Canada bitch slaps everyone not named the USA. Second, they shoot less hard and don't hit like guys do. When you watch the NHL, there's a very real possibility of dudes getting jacked the f*** up from an open ice hit. A woman absorbing a hit like that would be mangled beyond recognition, lmao.

Women are smaller and more injury prone. Look how many women Nia Jax injured during her WWE career.
