Got it yesterday at 3pm. Spent all day today with aches, chills, and 101 degree fever. Still not as the second shot was though. Fever was 102.5 for that one. Hopefully it will be like that 2nd shot though because when I woke up the next day I felt fine again.

after my booster my whole left arm was completely fucked, way worse than the original vax. now its been like three weeks and theres still bizarrely a spot on my arm thats still messed up when i move it certain ways and theres a light red blotchy spot there. almost feels like i pulled a muscle but ive stopped lifting since i got the shot. if its not better soon i guess i ought to go to the doctor

I havent it felt it quite as hard as my 2nd shot but I definitely am feeling it. The 2nd shot I had teeth chattering HARD chills. This time I only was shaking a little bit at 3AM when the high winds woke me up but otherwise its mostly a feeling of fever/chills, fatigue and soreness. No intense shaking.

Also Moderna. 7 and a half month gap from 2nd shot.

Maybe there was some bacteria on your skin resistant to the chemicals of the sanitizing wipe that caused a skin infection?

That or a wierd immune overreaction?

how many months between your 2nd and 3rd did you take?

That's what it's supposed to do.

My wife had a similar reaction, big angry red knot at injection site. Lasted a couple of weeks.

@Naysaspace 2nd shot was in April.

thats not impossible but they gave me the shot and wipe at the usual spot on upper bicep and the painful spot with the blotch is further down on the other side of the arm. either way its weird. the two moderna shots i took i was fine, just a little cruddy and achey. the booster i got was pfizer and it really messed me up

Got mine, moderna too, on Thursday. All that happened for me was a soreness in the injection spot for like a day

Everyone reacts differently though, so it's impossible to predict for each person

I wasn't really affected by the previous two shots, but the booster messed me up, along with the flu shot I got on the same day. Hopefully it clears up for you tomorrow like it did for me.

Second one gets most people. Drink lots of water to help flush your system.

I can't remember which one it was but either the first or second shot of Madonna really messed me up

I got mine on Tuesday and apart from a sore injection site, I was copasetic.

That sucks.

I had a pretty bad time with my first two doses of Pfizer but the booster was a breeze. Only had soreness at the injection site.

Got the Pfiser Booster in the afternoon and that night my immune system was like "Whats that? Sleep? You wanna sleep? Nah son. Here, how about I make your legs all wobbly when you go to piss and give you alternating chills and fevers."

i got the pfizer booster (original shots were moderna) and the flu shot at the same time on wednesday afternoon, it's only today that i feel better. I had a fever, migraine on thursday night, really bad chills and shakes, bad fatigue and stomach pains. horrible horrible shit

I mainly experienced pretty serious fatigue and some slight chills, but fatigue is my least favorite thing in the world.

Quarterly is pretty fucking unlikely. 6 Months to a year is more likely since this fucking thing isn't going anyway anytime soon. Which fine, whatever. I feel perfectly fine today.

I need to get mine so I can call out of work tomorrow honestly lol. It's free at any CVS or whatever right?

Omicron looks like it might be very highly spreading but very low hospitalizations/death. So it might be a case that in the next 6 months almost everybody gets Omicron and very very few people get hospitalized/die (very especially among the vaccinated). If you have been vaccinated and natural immunity from having had COVID you have a super strong immunity, so once that happens it's possible we'd kinda be done with COVID.

So I'm hoping for that outcome. Seems like the most likely way for COVID to end.

Natural immunity tends to begin to decay after 90 days or so. I have co-workers that are now on their third cases of COVID since the pandemic began.

The CVS in my city were all booked solid for appointments. I tried to do a walk-in and was turned away so I searched online and found a nearby high school was doing an open vaccination drive so I got my booster there (I got Wednesday this last week)

For me, had about the same reaction as TC having also got Moderna for all of mine. 2nd Moderna dose laid me out pretty badly for a day, booster had a similar effect but not as bad. The next day, I still had some chills, soreness, and slept a lot but retained some appetite and was able to eat a meal and a snack later. The day after, I had some soreness at the injection site but the days after I barely feel it.

I have sleep issues, reflux and some on and off depressive moods so fatigue is an old friend
