I voted for Gundyr but I want to change it to Cleric Beast.

The other bosses are easy to bait into easily avoided moves that leave them vulnerable.

Vanguard Demon is high up the list because if he does hit you it's pretty much over with how hard he hits.

Gundyr 2nd phase catches people off guard and is a bit harder to read his telegraphs.

I never really understood Cleric Beast's moveset, and have never fought him solo.

For a first boss, he seems to have a ridiculous amount of health.

probably cleric beast, if only because that game played differently from DS and it took some time to get used to it. but is cleric beast really the first boss and not the hunter i cant remember the name of, the one that turns into a werebeast?

Father Gascoigne is the first boss and he's hardest.

Of those options, probably Gundyr.
