Im pushing a 14 Maxima. Havent had any issues. I make sure to stay on top of the maintenance. Only thing I dont like is I only get like 20MPG and premium is recommended even though its a fucking Nissan.

Hoping by the time Im ready for a new car there will be more electrical options.

Why to americans measure distance per volume of gas, but canadians measure volume of gas per nominal distance?

We use L/100KM

I dont know but seems like any form of measurement used in the US is different than other countries.

A 1999 Corolla. It's in very, very good condition for its age. And literally beats some hybrids on gas mileage.

a 2008 Chevy HHR

It drives. It isn't the best on gas but I also don't drive that far most days so it isn't a big deal.

I'll keep driving it until its too expensive to repair. and even then I'll probably just get another one.

Those late 90s/early 00s Hondas and Toyotas will still be running even after mankind is gone.

I used to drive a Ford Explorer

Holy fuck never get one. Left me stranded on average 3x per year. By 140k miles almost every possible thing that could break had broken. Constantly went through batteries. Mind boggling amount of electrical issues. Every window motor had gone out and dropped the window during rain or snow storms. Wouldn't start probably 1/20 times for all kinds of reasons.

Eventually I stopped fixing things and in the spam of two months nothing inside the car worked at all - no speedo, no dash, no radio, no windows, everything peeling off

I'll NEVER consider buying an American car

Probably an LT or SS instead of another LS but yeah I don't mind them.

Used to the space.

If I had no debt then I might get like a 2017 Malibu or Impala.

Doesnt hurt to look into it. I know dealerships are offering a lot of extra trade in value right now. My buddy bought a truck and traded it in months later and got $5000 more than he paid for it.

As Ive gotten older I envy people that dont have a car payment over people with nice cars.

Its a lot easier to finance a car than to be debt free.

Pretty clean. I want an electric for my next car but if I went with a combustion engine I would go WRX.

My car before this was an 06 Impreza.

2012 Camaro and fortunately no password security questions are tied to that lol

Looking to get a Lexus SUV either in 2022 or 2023 and drive it into the ground because a Camaro with no driver assistance technology outside of a backup camera isn't ideal for narrow as fuck and shitily maintained metro DC roads. I feel every single bump on the road. Plus cabin space is starting to be a hindrance now that I'm not living the college life anymore and on top of more space, better tech, and better visibility the Lexus has 8 more combined MPG which for a same size tank is roughly a week's worth of gas for commuting to work. I still plan to keep the Camaro as my fun car though.

It is not now. I don't have a garage where I currently live.

I want a hatchback version next. I do a fair amount of outdoor activities but I can't fit a bike or kayak in it. I don't want to use roof racks.

I will have it paid off this year. I half want to learn stick and get a STI version. But I my commute is largely bumper to bumper traffic.

I don't doubt it. I got it with about 100k on the odo, it's just over 200k now. I've had to replace the suspension - though shitty roads I used to live on likely contributed to that - and had to replace the battery very soon after I got it, but aside from those things all it's ever needed is routine stuff (eg. tyres, oil filters), and a new windscreen which was by no means a fault of the car itself (just a "shit happens" situation with gravel being flicked up).
