This is why I wait at the pick up window for my order when they ask me to pull out to a stall. I have never had a McDonald's order be correct so they don't get the privilege of having me trust them to get it right.

I always check every time. Mistakes just happen, I don't hold it against anyone. But I'm not leaving short-changed either.

Same. I never physically leave the store property until Im 100% sure my order is correct. I give the workers a break, but if they screw up my order, theyre going to get it right.

Yea OP this is why you ALWAYS check your bags. I don't trust the teen workers at all...

-My local Popeyes is a nightmare. They've missed several items through drive thru. Came inside, other customers are complaining and there's a bunch of teens running around and seems like they don't know what they're doing haha.

-I remember I had to wait in front for my McDonalds meal. Some worker (teen girl) finally walked outside and actually dropped the entire bag of food.... not my meal, but the others inside the car next to me just laughed and drove off without the food... lmao.

-My local Canes keeps giving me 5 tenders for my Caniac meal instead of 6 tenders. This was ongoing for 3 visits in a row and idk why. Literally $15 meal ffs.........

Last time I was at KFC I got a three piece feed and asked for all thigh pieces.... She's like "oh yeah no problem I can do that for you"
She was very happy to make that happen....
Got the box home and they are all wings

And even if they did they dont get the training, staffing, or cooperative customers for it either

Sheeet, just be glad they weren't that old-ass tough chicken that has been sitting under a hotlight all day when it comes to KFC, lol.

Seriously, don't ever go to KFC past like, 6:30pm....its going to be a flip of a coin when it comes to whether that chicken is going to chip your teeth or not.

The Popeyes near me was so bad at getting orders right that the online reviews were 2*.
Everyone got replaced.
It's better now.

Sonics would regularly mess up my shake and slushy orders. They some how gave me a tea slushy once, something that wasn't on the menu. I know if I asked for one they would tell me they can't make it though.

Your expectations being too high are the problem TC.

Just always trust them to never do their job. You'll be amazed every time they actually do then!

If they wanted the line to keep moving they'd make sure that orders were correct. Instead McDonalds gets it fucking wrong like 90% of the time. I don't have to do this at any other fast food place.

Guarantee they've consumed so much of other people's spit in their lifetime. Quite possibly some boogers and semen as well.

Every time I go to Jersey Mike's, it is literally a coin flip whether or not they are going to poison my food with onions. I absolutely cannot eat onions and it's even worse with Jersey Mike's because they cut up the onions into such tiny little pieces that I can't remove them all.

Pulling into a stall is 100% bullshit. If those worthless swines worked fast, there wouldn't be waiting or having to pull up. I know I sound like a prick, but whenever I have to pull up, I'm always waiting there for 5-10 minutes on top of how long it took to get through the line. Completely unacceptable. That's why I loathe drive-thrus with every fiber of my being. But I have no choice vecause the pandemic+the worker shortage=carryout either closing very early or not even being an option.

McDonalds is honestly better in poorer areas in my city. If you go to places in the suburbs, theyre just staffed by high school kids.

The ones around here get paid $15 an hour and up which is at least $3.25 over minimum wage. That's decent enough in this area where the cost of living is low although it keeps going up. A lot of them are high school kids still living at home who don't need that much to pay their bills.

Either way if you agree to take a job you should care enough to keep it. I've gotten orders that were purposely fucked up because someone thought it would be funny. A couple months ago I got a burger with the cheese stuck to the top of the bun. I just ate it like that.
