Was pretty cool. I'm currently teaching high school English but I'm looking to move on to something new.

It's for a Junior Technical Writer position but that's all that was revealed, basically. Super secret.

The dude was super cool. He and I had the exact same backgrounds and we shot the breeze for a good 10 minutes. Lasted over an hour.

Wasn't remotely qualified based on the job posting but they called and interviewed me immediately. First thing he said, "you have an extremely impressive resume, and I'm tired of hiring engineering majors." LOL

Pretty cool. I would be moving to DC if I get it, but even if I don't, it was cool. And I still like my job now. Just wish it paid me more.

I'm talking about teaching.... Our benefits are terrible lol.

I feel like this is the sort of thing they don't want you doing. but congrats on the interview, I hope you get what you want.

Sounds like the guy interviewing you was good at his job. Established rapport and had you thinking you have a lot in common.

Not like he was getting paid to interview me. He's not a recruiter.
