Shotgunnova 12/10/21 7:30:32 AM #1:	Moraine gets "exiled" for being "bad" and everyone turns their back on her; Mat has a shadow monster hoovered out of thrown back into the dagger; Egwene gives over the Aes Sedai bling rings; and the False Dragon mouths off, then wishes for death in the next breath. Funniest part was Moraine BTFO-ing that red Aes Sedai with her spilled secret, though. And now the gang is all together again. Oh, except Mat, who didn't jump into the creepy magical portal into a creepy, lightless cave. Can't blame him. I'm curious where the Eye of the World is, though, since this feels like the RPG-esque "traverse the whole continent" type of adventure. Let's face it: the binding soul/magic contract Moraine gave definitely has wording that allows her to be called back, so she's gotta return at some point (Chekhov's magical pact). They're about to go into Mordor, though, so I'd give it a few seasons before they cash in. There's still some core concepts that haven't been explained like ~~ta'veren.~~ I'm still not even sure they will talk about that but I feel like they half to. And I think Moraine mentioned it once in the first episode to Lan. Matt staying behind was weird. I know he has a new actor next season so maybe it has something to do with it, I don't know. It's still on it's first season so they are still doing some lore building. Also the CGI can be hit or miss sometimes and apparently it's because of Covid and they couldn't do as well remotely. But it's already been renewed for Seasons 2 and 3 so it will be around for a little while. Caemlyn is important only because of the people that he meets there, but those don't have to happen there, or even happen till later because the relationships don't form until much later. And because they keep hitting on how important Tar Vallon and the White Tower are you have to show those to the viewers to drive it home. You've only got 8 episodes, so we condense. I don't have to care for it, but I get why they did it.
