opportunity, but I cant bring myself to do it just cuz Im a professional. I left a corporate job four months ago and took a position with a startup, and now have been recruited back for a higher level position with my previous employer.
The startup (I say that because theyre not really an entire new company just a division under a holding company that bought them a couple yrs ago and this new project team) is expanding and gained the necessary support they needed to hire 50+ people compared to the 10-15 for the past 6mos. Anyways, we all work remotely and today theyre doing a virtual meet-n-greet where the vets say their background, etc. to all these new employees. Well, I didnt know this when taking my new offer and planned to put in my notice today. Its the perfect time to when Im introduced in the meeting to these 50 new people to be like, Well, actually and peace out. I want to so bad just cuz of the timing but Im not leaving out of spite or bitterness so its not really the type of walk-out Id want to do (and I have done it before). --- If you don't want to argue about something, take the initiative and stfu. Yeah, no reason to do that since you have no animosity toward your current (soon-to-be former) employer.
