Lets say for the sake of argument, youre an attractive male. Not crazy good looking or anything, just a reasonably attractive male. And lets say shes single, and is looking, and knows nothing about you as a person. You could be a billionaire, or a supervillain for all she knows.

So you approach her at a gathering, with a kind, confident tone, and say Hi, Im ___ and she immediately says nope. And walks away.

To add to this scenario, lets say you try the same thing with another girl a few moments later and she says hey! And soon after admits that youre her type.

Why did that first girl write you off? How did the second girl know youre her type after a one sentence introduction? And what if both were wrong? What if the first girl woulda found true love had she heard you out? What if a relationship with the second girl woulda been doomed from the start?

In other words, why do chicks decide so quickly and so decisively?

Generally speaking though, chicks arent as into looks as dudes. Look at Beyonc and Jay-Z. So with that said, physical attraction shouldnt be as much of an issue with them.

Also, attractiveness isn't everything. Also, the girl's got her own set of circumstances that factor in. Maybe she just broke up with someone, maybe she's emotionally unavailable, maybe she doesn't like the brand of shoes you're wearing, maybe she's over guys, maybe she's in a bad mood and doesn't want to be bothered, etc. So many different reasons.

Well then by that logic, couldnt a man say women dont care about sparing my feelings, so you cant really blame me if I dont care about respecting her. I mean, where does it end? Just an endless cycle of people being dicks to each other and then complaining online about who started it.

I dont think its cool to defend either sex in that regard. Or give them leeway cuz of past grievances.

Well there's really no way of knowing all of that at first glance. It doesn't matter though. She doesn't owe you "a chance". She can have any number of reasons for turning you down. Your face, complexion, hairstyle, height, weight, body hair, voice, mannerisms/body language, fashion sense, etc. Any of that can be something she looks at when deciding.

Like, I'm a very hairy guy, so I know I will never hit it off with the "my man has to be hairless from the neck down" type of women (and I've met quite a few). It just is what it is. We could become the best of friends, but if body hair is a hard pass for her, then getting along great isn't changing her attraction.

It's her call how best to handle it. Maybe in her experience, being 'rude' is the only way most guys get the message right away. The point of the response is to get you to stop pursuing her, and if she had been nicer about it there's a chance you'd take it the wrong way and keep talking.

Women are into looks and can be every bit as shallow as men. Why do you think so many dating profiles say they only want guys who are 6 foot & up.

Also, Jay-Z is a world famous billionaire. Obviously, that is a huge difference compared to some random guy at a party.
