I haven't been modded more than a few times since creating this account. Suddenly, I have four moderations in a span of about two weeks.

The first was legit. No need to argue.
The second one was a post made in good faith. I was modded, then it was overturned.
The third one was technically fair. I quoted someone posting an offensive statement to disagree with them. (Quoting offensive content is not allowed.)
The fourth one was another post made in good faith and a topic which had a civil discussion. I disputed it and mods rejected my dispute despite there being nothing antagonistic about the post.

What's really telling is that several people quoted the offensive post in question and I was the only one whose post was deleted. I have a couple of suspects. I don't want to be petty and put people on the ignore user list. But for the sake of keeping my account, it might just be for the best if I do. If I have someone following at my heels pretending to be offended when there's nothing inflammatory or provocative about my posts, it's just a matter of time before I get banned.

With mod anonymity, there's no reason for me to try and guess who it is.

It just irks me that we had a genuinely civil discussion on race and gender in the media and someone said, "Hey, mods. He's totally trying to race-bait here. I'm offended. Like, seriously. Totally on the level. I'm not just marking this guy because I dislike him."

You ever think maybe you get marked more than you'd think?

The fact that I was the only one who was modded for quoting the offensive post shows that it wasn't a moderator's discretion. There were posts before and after mine quoting the same post. And, again, the discussion I had in my last moderation was civil. I didn't phrase things in an antagonistic way and there were no trolling or heated responses.

I've blocked who I consider to be the three most likely suspects. If the culprit wants to switch to an alt account to stalk-mod me, I can't help that. But for now, I have reason to block their mains.

Eh, I actually disagreed with deleting your topic on race in media because it didn't look like it was meant to be malicious in any way.

That said the others are definitely fair lol. I highly doubt you have a stalker, a lot of people on CE actually mark posts so more blatant violations tend to get hit regularly.
