All stress I have ever felt at a job can be blamed directly on capitalism.

It's bad because people only give a shit about money in them.

For example -

I work at a school and all of the students in the district get free lunch. In order for the free lunch to "count" though, they have to take so many things. A combo of veggies, fruit, dairy, protean, ect. They can't just take a slice of pizza, for example. So they're forced to take food they're not going to eat and just throw it away. A TON of food gets wasted because they force kids to take more than they can eat or else they will get rid of the grant and make families pay for lunch again

It's the same with Breakfast. That's also free, but if we don't serve a lot of breakfasts to kids they're going to withdraw the grant and the schools are going to lose a bunch of money. So we pretty much force them to take a breakfast so we can "count" it, and that food goes to waste as well.

Then there is a whole other grant that gives us fancy fruits and veggies that the kids don't normally eat during lunch. Blood Oranges or raw onions, for example. We end up with a lot of these left over as well, but we can't put them on the lunch line as one of the veggies or fruit options because that money comes from another place, and that place doesn't want to use their funds to help out with the people that do the main lunch funds.

It's all fucking stupid. We have to waste food every single day just so we can continue to get it

While this is bad, a government funded grant program isn't really a good example against capitalism.

"Just cos you FAILED living in a CAPITALIST COUNTRY doesn't mean capitalism is bad."

What about if lots and lots of people fail?

At what point do you amend or regulate capitalism?

Or is the answer: never. And therefore capitalism is more your religion?
