VR and 3D complete each other. Throw in a nice lightgun/nunchuck combo and you're in business .There's some serious value in certain 2D graphics (such as claymation) thats being completely underused too. CGI in general is kinda yuck. At least the way we handle it.
Actually , lol, Resident Evil is pretty consistently the best thing that isn't MGS or on PC. That still holds true for this generation. I mean.who knows. We apparently live in an alternate reality where PS5 will spend the first years of its life being a legendary rare console where Demon's Souls is the best game. So. Thats weird. ... If we're comparing a CGI animated film vs a claymation animated film, I prefer the latter in terms of visuals. I just really like the "physicality" of it, compared to CGI.
In terms of special effects, CGI is tons more versatile and useful. For monsters, though, and that kind of thing, generally I prefer practical effects, but claymation I don't think would look good like that in modern movies. So I'd take animatronics/suits/makeup > CGI > claymation. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
