In terms of labour emancipation, and maybe other kinds. I always envision large companies as being the best possible vehicle for that kind of thing, namely, giving workers more control and ownership over their labour. Now I'm not saying that's a good idea, but I just think that a large company is the best body to do it since it is the one the labour is actually tied to.
