It does a good job to pay homage to the 1980's Ghostbusters and the cast did the best they could with the script, but otherwise it was just a bland film. I would definitely recommend if you absolutely love the first 2 Ghostbusters films or just a big fan of them in general, but man does this movie just one big pandering machine for it. It never stops referencing it, which probably would work if I was crazy for it.

I didn't like it very much. It was very boring and the ending was full of cringe.Probably one of the weaker films I have seen this year

I would definitely put this movie over the 2016 film, but I think it would've been better if it didn't flash the 1980's ghostbuster at your face so many times. Like normally that kind of stuff doesn't annoy me, but this is the first time where I was just like this movie could've been soo much better if it wasn't a Ghostbusters film because it keeps referencing it over and over again. I wish the movie was its own thing.

Yeah, coming from Encanto last week (one of the best movies I've seen this year) it was definitely a bummer. But not as bad as Halloween Kills or Space Jam 2.
