Especially for hares, basically just tell the fella you want some, he'll fuck off into the woods and grab one.

Combat is more of a distraction. He'll bite a dude and hold on, giving you a free swing. Plus he can fight dogs when he wants to. You can eventually train him to find special areas and chase down/kill fleeing enemies.

So I forgot guards also go to Skalitz.

She's going to be surprised to find he's hanging out in the bathhouse to forget how he all about those terrible MURDERS he was committing. I built and upgraded all the money making buildings in PricklyScallops before starting on the church.

Went with Armormaster, Butcher, Guard post.

I'm saving the Rathouse for last because it pleases me to make Micah sleep in a tent.

Also I want everyone to know I shot that guard square in the heart.

I honestly don't know how he survived.

I think I just bought it.

Also I really really love it when bandits drop Meshuggenah Swords or whatever.

I'm damn good with the grindstone, so free 100 quality in twenty-five seconds.

I once put Bane in a Cumen camp's cookpot. They ate and all died like two minutes later. Looted them, noted they had raw hare meat. I went over to the fire to cook it. I accidentally activated the pot instead, poisoning myself. I didn't have an antidote.

Gotta finish the games I'm currently playing but this game is next up.

I've always enjoyed the idea of poisoning stewpots, but with my armor, I walk around sounding like a bucket full of sleighbells. You can actually strip to be quieter, but if you're caught...well...that's going to be awkward.

Henry singing in Latin is probably the worst thing that ever happened to the Church.

That's often said to be the worst part of the game by many players, since you have to live an actual cloistered life and adhere to the schedule. You can also be kicked out of the monastery if you're caught being too much of a bad boy, though there are times you can explore, too. If you really want to bother with monastic "fun," have a save from before you joining the order to ensure you're not dismissed prematurely. Even leaving the compound can go badly for you.

I have it pretty well in order.

Other than going to jail twice.

i thought it was really interesting and immersive the first time through. it was a chore on subsequent playthroughs though.

Yeah, it's definitely a chore, even if you know what to do. I usually break in pre-quest and get the skeleton key or something. There's a chest (?) in the cellar you can rob and leave stuff in, I believe, so you can dump lockpicks and stuff in there if you don't want it confiscated.

iirc in the first playthrough i abused an exploit that let you access your horse inventory while sitting on one of the privies in the monastery lol. just put everything i wanted to have on the inside on my horse. pretty sure it was eventually patched.

I think it's available (?) to search even if you don't do his little quest. I forget.

BTW, I remember a glitch on one of the monastery quests. There's a dude guarding a house and he only lets you in if you go bring him a relic from some saint's cave in the outer restricted area. If you finish the quest and don't put the relic back (as the quest-giver asks), the next time you talk to him, you might hit an infinite loading screen.

Yeah, I don't think the shield is the best one, but it's pretty good if you haven't done Pribyslavitz stuff. I think there's a special achievement if you kill that bandit dude and throw him in the mineshaft, too.

Plus the Custodian gave me a pretty dope shortsword.

I'm between it and Razor for my shortsword. Got Herod for long (I just bought it, money is meaningless) and a Raven's Beak after I got tired of Ceremonial Mace.

I'd carry around a full set of plate armor just in case if I hadn't already done that and decided against it.

I pull the mace for srsbsns fights.

I also occasionally poison the mace, though I'm not sure how that works.

No need to go all Paladin on a few peasants.
