So what's the connection because I can only see those two things that I mentioned earlier.

I used that as an example of a line of logic. That they're condiments doesn't matter, it's the logic to the statement. Surely you've experienced a logical analogy before.

In this very world right now. Lot of years with low karma? Been modded a bunch, probably suspended, all things that wouldnt be of good quality.

Brand new account with low karma, main had so many moderations they got banned and had to make a new account. Which again, would mean they didnt have good quality.

To be fair, did you see the amazing trigger discipline being displayed? Any concerns I had about racist right wing politicians arming their children and fetishizing guns were alleviated because they all kept their fingers off the triggers! WOW!!!

This really sums up the problem.

The problem isn't that these people are being unsafe with their guns. It's the fetishization of guns and the accompanying extremist views that are the problem.

But many people who loudly comment on trigger discipline most likely share that fetish, so it's a lost cause arguing with them.

Its one of those lose lose situations. If the people in these pictures didnt have trigger discipline then this whole topic would be about that. But since they do you all have to play the other card and say it doesnt matter and whatever insults you can come up with.

Just like the ones in here who brought up the angle the guns are pointed, and then were quickly corrected because of something called perspective.which led to the user bringing up Pokmon?

You dont see a connection between a school shooting that took place because the parents encouraged gun use and bought the mass shooter his gun and a family posing with guns that the parents bought for their children?

This is one of those correlation does not automatically equal causation examples.

We could probably identify dozens, if not hundreds, of similarities that also dont ultimately mean much such as that pictured family eats breakfast and checks their social media every day and so does the school shooter. Youd have to prove that the examples lead to school shootings, considering that families all across the country also have multiple guns in their homes and train their children to operate them, yet never end up shooting anybody. In the 80s and 90s, a lot of people took it as fact that playing violent video games lead to more violent students. It just seemed so connected.
