The fights (so far) are pretty shallow and not TOO great but I love the characters and the setting, and they are making up for it . It's The opposite of part 5, I didn't care for the jpop team but I LOVED the fights

The first 3rd of stone ocean is undoubtedly the slowest part of the entire manga it was a good move to drop it all at once.

The final 3 episodes of the set of 12 is the part that is improved the most from being animated

but it felt like he was SELF AWARE this time

The Weather Report/Jolyne fight FELT like it should have been good, but it just simply wasn't

I don't even know either, it just didn't click to me

it became worth it when WR fucking MADE A HURRICANE FROM THE TROPICS APPEAR AND BROUGHT DOWN LEGIONS OF POISON FROGS

so how long are they gonna stretch this out? When are we getting the rest

first ep was wilder than I remembered, I even went back to the manga and yeah it feels like the anime does give a bit more perspective in the truck for Ermes being hassled by the guards.

So the Japanese TV broadcast doesn't even begin until the 1st week of January so at the very latest we won't get it until the end of March but maybe we'll get another drop of 12 earlier than that maybe in January or February

Now that Pucci and Jolyne have met face to face it gets more exciting from here with the final 3rd being some of the most Bizarre stuff in the entire series. I'm just sad it ended before we hit Limp Bizkit which is the next arc

The same 12 episodes are on Japanese Netflix but they don't actually start airing on TV in Japan for another month

Also I want to say that fighting is something that will also improve because my memory of stone ocean is jolyne in a lot of fistfights but maybe that wasn't until the middle of the series

I was under the impression she was a martial artist but yea, thats not REALLY coming through at all so far

They gave her Chun Li's fighting pose in the fighting games and some of her panels are doing kicking poses

There is definitely one fight right in the middle of the part (you might call it THE halfway point fight) where she definitely does, but I feel there were other fights too

Also for reference these 12 episodes covered 50 out of a 158 chapters so pretty much right on pace to be 39 episodes just like parts 4 and 5
