How long has the dog been grieving for?
When my stepmother's dog died, my dad's dog spent the next couple of days on his dog bed mourning her. It can be a normal process. If it's been a while and the dog is still that way, you may need to come up with a means of distracting them. Maybe a new dog or a change of location. Some quality time together. I don't know. ... Been a few weeks now. They're my family's dogs, but I like to think me and the boy had a special bond. Girl dog was cool, but boy seemed to want my attention.
When I visited boy dog after sister died, he seemed to perk up when asked him to bring me his ball for fetch. But he seemed weaker than usual. ... Copied to Clipboard!
