It looks like a weird love letter by someone who's never actually seen the original film, or who maybe saw it when they were 8 and literally never rewatched it.

Just saw it and I enjoyed it. It paid tribute to the original movies (maybe a little too much in spots) but overall did its own thing.

I generally don't pay attention to reviews in general. I liked the last Ghostbusters movie but didn't expect much going in because of people bashing it. There were only a few things I didn't like but I think they were just minor annoyances.
