I get that all presidents have certain responsibilities and people that help with scheduling. But I think in Biden's case, it's probably more than other presidents.

I don't know about that. I do know there was an event where they requested he didn't show up, because they didn't have the manpower to deal with it and also didn't want every to be about him. So of course he showed up, more or less made it another campaign rally for himself, and completely overshadowed what he was supposedly there for.
