Its more similar to Goldeneye than Perfect Dark IMO but yeah its pretty great. Really fast-paced and frantic, with goofy character designs and a banger soundtrack. The map maker added a lot of replay value too.

Yes. That I remember, Rare tried to make more Bond games but the demands were too much from EON productions, so they branched off into Timesplitters...

TimeSplitters 1 was a PS2 launch game and didn't have enough dev time to have a campaign, but TS2 is basically GoldenEye 2

Someone else covered it but a load of the devs left and formed another studio. The first half of the first level of TS 2 is very Goldeneye Esque:
