The Miss USA Pageant had just been announced live on Youtube today where once again the pageant was live streamed online rather than in front of a live audience because of the pandemic.

This is also the first time the pageant was run by an African American female who is a former pageant winner herself, Miss USA 2008's Crystle Stewart who said it was a great honour to now run the pageant.

Last year's winner, Miss USA 2020, Asya Branch took her final walk to the stage and just a few minutes, the winner was announced and it was another great year for African American females as 22 y/o Elle Smith from Kentucky is the new Miss USA 2021 winner and will represent the United States in the Miss Universe Pageant!!..
